PRIVACY POLICY – Australian Privacy Principle
Latch.Ing Lactation (formerly Cinta Mama) is committed to providing quality lactation consultation for its clients. We recognise the importance of ensuring that our clients (mothers, babies, and families) are fully informed and involved in their lactation care.
We are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles. These principles set the standards for the way we handle personal information collected from the clients we support. As every client is aware, it is necessary for us to maintain the files pertaining to your lactation care information.
These files contain the following information:
- Personal details.
- Notes, details, and records of management made during lactation consultation.
- Referral to/from other health professionals as needed.
Your lactation care files are handled with the utmost respect for your privacy. The files will be accessed by Lactation Consultant in Latch.Ing Lactation, and where necessary for the admin to handle your files to address administrative requirements as receiving lactation care. Our admin is bound by strict confidentiality requirements.
At times, it may be necessary to allow external organisations to access Latch.Ing Lactation practice files and possibly to view the lactation care records. They will be aware of the need to preserve the requirements of the Privacy Act.
Ordinary, we will not release the contents of your lactation care file without your consent. However, we advise that there may be occasions when we will be required to release details. For example, where the law requires it, such as subpoenas.
We advise that as a client of Latch.Ing Lactation, you have the right to access any information we have concerning you.

FEE POLICY
APPLICABLE FEES
1. Consultation Fees
All professional fees are payable to Inggita Shintowati IBCLC. Consultation fees are determined by the total duration of the appointment, with available session lengths of:
- 30 minutes
- 60 minutes
- 90 minutes
Payment is required at the time of online booking to confirm your appointment.
2. Session Duration
While we make every effort to adhere to scheduled appointment times, sessions may extend beyond the originally booked duration based on clinical needs. Additional time will be charged at a rate of overtime fee ($55 per 15-minute). The consultant reserves discretion to waive overtime fees when appropriate.
3. Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy
If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify us via email to [email protected] . We kindly ask for at least 48 hours (2 days) notice before your scheduled session.
A Cancellation Fee equal to the FULL Session Fee applies if you need to cancel or reschedule a session with less than 48hours (2 days) notice of your scheduled session time, irrespective of the reason, including illness.
RESCHEDULING AND CANCELLATION FEES:
— Less than 48 hours’ notice (under 2 days):
- Cancellation Fee: Full session fee (Applies to both cancellations and reschedules, regardless of the reason, including illness.)
— Between 48–72 hours’ notice (2–3 days):
- Cancellation Fee: $100
- Rescheduling Fee: $0
— More than 72 hours’ notice (over 3 days)
- No cancellation or rescheduling fee apply
- Please notify us via email.
REFUNDS:
A full refund will be provided when:
- 1. You cancel more than 72 hours (3 days) before your session and notify us via email.
- 2. Latch.Ing Lactation cancels the appointment.
You will receive a confirmation via text or email once your refund has been processed.
If You Need to Cancel Within 48 Hours
If you realise within 48 hours that you cannot be available for your face-to-face session – for any reason, including if you or your baby are unwell – please contact us immediately via Whatsapp (text).
You are welcome to change your face-to-face session to a Video or Phone consultation so you can still receive support during your booked time.
4. Travel Fees (Home Visits)
Our standard service area covers a 10km radius from Dulwich Hill (including Inner West and Canterbury regions) with no travel fee. For locations beyond this area:
- A travel fee of $25 per additional 10km radius applies.
- Clients must confirm location eligibility via WhatsApp to +61 421 598 483 or email prior to booking.
- Travel fees will be clearly itemized on your invoice.
5. Payment Terms
Clients are responsible for:
- Reviewing and understanding all applicable fees.
- Settling any outstanding balances by the due date specified on their invoice.
Accepted payment methods include PayID and bank transfer, with details provided on your invoice.
